yo can anyone please tell me what wood would be best (eg plywood, hardwood, teak, pine, etc..) regarding the cost and effectiveness on the following points.

1. Park bench
2. Doors for kitchen cabinets and bench.
3. Library Children's Room
4.Styled Rocker
5. Wood Junior project for a small train
6. A security door of a house.
7. Supports for the construction of a house
8. Viewing platform on a beach
9. Handles for tools
10. thrown on a boat deck.

3. Children's Library Room birch plywood

4.Styled Rocker - Maple

5. the Wood Junior pine train Clair

Oak is the best wood for use.not cheapest, but strong wood to make your projects last a lifetime.

I would Oaks for everything except the number seven. All home building in the United States is supposed to be fur Douglas # 2 or better by the Universal Building Code.
