Organic Furniture

Organic FurnitureFurniture organic, what tools do I need?

I am in the process of designing organic skin care "blob as" furniture for a summer project and I want to know what kind of tools should I use to get the desired effect when working with curved oak (or other wood). I know for a precise that I can use files and sanders, but this is my best bet to start? I would basically be to carve out a large block of wood.

I would say that by the size of the block of wood is that you start with what it is and that you do, you may want to start with something like a chain saw (one of the smallest ) to help you get through a pile of wood quickly outline the shape you are trying to achieve. After that, reciprocating saws and other power tools (you can even use an electric drill with something like a Forstner bit) and scissors to better define the form. After that, you can use something as flat and rasps and files and sanders. Sounds intriguing! I would like to see pictures when you complete your project. Make sure you put the chips and compost!
