Help deciding on a changing pad for baby!? I watched the Serta Organic Contour Pad Babies R Us for $ 29.99
This changing pad cover is a vinyl with no phthalates. The interior is 85% cotton 15% polyester and organic. These fibers are compatible to put the demands of TB 133 flammability tests, which is authorized by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The vinyl used is not made of PVC vinyl. The sides of the contour are nice. I never leave my baby alone, but I like the idea that the baby can not slip as easily as I do not have a real change in the table (I'm running out of space, so I am buffet / change combo and the station it does not come with guardrails) This cushion also has straps to secure it with screws on the dresser.
However, I read some comments. Most are positive, but some people complain because it is not 100% organic-it only 15% organic. Moreover, some people complained that the quality change mat is not great, apparently, the stitching is undone after a month or two. However, it seems that people who have used diaper covers no problem at all and I intend to use for diaper covers.
My main concern is the baby's skin irritated. I have super sensitive skin and my husband and I suffer from eczema. I fear that my baby has sensitive skin and eczema so I was wondering if organic is better or if changing pad sounds good to you guys ... did you buy this product? In addition, these are some tips when buying??
Thank you very much! =)
Honestly, I wouldnt buy a changing mat. I never use. I put my son on a blanket or towel, or on a bed, cot or floor. Whatever the reach and close
a changing pad is a lifesaver if your baby decides to pee when you decide to change their diapers. water proof Everything that you can easily take it with you in the diaper bag is perfect. Also take a blanket or a cloth coat with you, and place it on the carpet when you change the diaper. He will feel beautiful on her skin and will not irritate.
