Orbit Travel

Orbit TravelIs the aircraft in the future out of orbit and into space in order to expedite the travel?

I could have sworn I saw a commercial airline to work on that concept. It is supposed to come out of orbit, you can travel the world in 45 minutes! Please let me know if this is true or a myth. If anyone has a link with details that would be even better! Cheers.

its true. (But if you want to go into orbit in order to accelerate time-travel)
Probably more than an aerospace company working on the concept, not an airline themselves. However, it may not be exactly in orbit. The machine will probably suborbital. Same as the orbit, but spends less fuel and releases the technical requirements on the satellite or aircraft.

many advantages, most are obvious, speed, no air resistance, no sonic boom to disturb anyone, no weather problems, etc.
the question of air is easily solved. The cabin will be pressurized aircraft as of today. And the air can be stored in tanks or produced by chemical reactions. (Like what NASA uses to keep alive their astronaust)

However, it will be decades before such travel will become affordable for the average citizen who want to go somewhere to visit or vacation.

Good God, my answer has got fewer points than the green! * Laughter * Report Abuse

Sorry to say, but it's a myth to think how fast it would get into space. As fate will oxeygon cannot lol so we r wearing spacesuits. Hope this helps.

ps. Anything is possible!

They are working on this concept today. I do not expect to see a practical application in commercial use for some time though. The costs and infrastructure are very expensive.

This is not a myth! For the planes to go faster, they will need to fly higher. * Shrug * The issue is to develop a platform and motor which can address issues of top flight at a high Mach number and slow flight at low altitude to land the thing. It is a compromise. When you summarize it, because the flight. It is a compromise between thrust, lift, drag and weight.

Get this platform work is the question. Remember the Concorde? This is the "best" that we attempt to research in the central part of the last century for us to fly at faster speeds. They arrested a few years ago because of the costs become prohibitive. * Shrug shoulders *

If it is a way to save fuel they get there.

well, this is not a myth. they work. But Im not sure how effective its going to be.

You guys shud have heard of Engg response, they developed an A / C that could reach speeds of Mach 5 for the commercial aviation and they tend to fly higher than normal commercial jets.
So he shud improve in the coming days.

that the American rule, if a man flies over 83,000 ft, it is called an astronaut, so how many cases astronauts commercial jets fly in space??

but there are a lotta time to start flying in space.
