Kimball Furniture

Kimball FurnitureKimball International, Inc. KBALB?

I was wondering what is going on in Kimball International, Inc. and its future. The company manufactures electronic products for automotive and furniture bargain.
Recently they have been by design and plant closures in recent years and most recently sold all its timberlands and now close the Borden plant and moving some employees to the plant in Salem.
May just be me, but it seems to be a bad practice to sell your timber which is your profit and now it must buy from a supplier at a higher price when you once dependent on the car.
Is Kimball International, Inc., a company must die, and I pull my money on your stocks?

Can not talk much about the electronics side of Kimball International.
However, I was a leader in online at the plant from Borden. For years, the Office of goods if plants were not profitable, and on a rapid downward spiral. This has led to several changes in production and layoffs. When the plant from Borden and Salem was once one of the top workplaces in the Clark County area of Washington is now a place of rapid employee turn over rates and a declining quality of the product . So losing many customers.
After several attempts to turn the plants around, I think they have reached the conclusionto sell Timberland focusing on electronics since most production is done in the States at a lower cost and more profit with yyielda the automotive industry.
Yes, the products of the Desktop folder is about it is unfortunate for the company and can not be made by the Jasper plant in the near future.

We had 3 members of the household who work between Borden and Salem plants. It is of course not the same place of business he has been in recent years. People in our region once thought if you worked there you were set for life. Not any more.
We can not afford to pay for his health care and higher deductibles. You can not plan anything in your life, because without notice you may have to work long hours at the end of the day and weekends can be shot in the closing minutes on Friday to learn that you work the weekend and to meet the production to move away from the door.
People moving out of our county to find a decent job because of job loss. As mentioned previously, the rate of employee turnover is very high and the quality is very low.
On a scale of 1 to 5. Kimball has two negative
Sell your stocks FIRST IN BULK!

I want to withdraw any stock of this company. Goods Office at present in jepordy and profit margin to default and mismanagement in their factories in Indiana, they lost the quality of many reasons.
We once made beautiful Salerie / salaries and health care. It is a thing of the past as our rate of peace. We all saw it coming after 9 / 11 with the loss of talented employees and valued. The training is as simple as launching new employees on the lines with little training and expects the quality does not work.
We found our own sound being pushed to the production and care little about the quality to get orders out the door on time. Then we are driven for long hours and the quality and production starts to bottleneck throughout the plant. I have seen good leaders pushed the door because they cared about workers and slowed to maintain quality and production goes, but when the production rate has slowed, executives was fired for leaders who have pushed the production and seemed to care little about the line workers. Many here call it the buddy system. " If your buddy the right people, you keep your job.
Kimball rate I as a company in trouble and soon to go under or at least all the plants will soon be outside the United States together.
