Girls Toddler Bedding What is the right age to put my girls in the toddler bed? My twin daughters 18 months old tomorrow! One of them decided this morning that she wanted and if it fell straight to the floor. Scared me a lot but it was OK. Just do not know if they are still quite ready to do what a toddler bed. Help someone! My son is 21 months and has been in her toddler bed since he was 17 months. If it is falling out of bed when she wants to go out, I think it is safer to go ahead and moving. We put my daughter was a toddler bed a month ago, she is 21 months. He's much better than we expected. She loves her "big girl" bed and asks him to go to bed at night. We take him and read a book, a back massage for a minute and kiss goodnight. She poses in her bed and looks at his book will finally sleep, no problems. They may surprise you ... you never know what to do until they are put in this situation! I agree with the other answerer. My two year sleeps in a crib now. We've moved him to 18 months. It is a little monkey lol, and even with the mattress at its lowest, it was still coming out of the cot, and get his arm stuck in the bars and controls. Some advice: when you travel, it is difficult to get them to nap in the toddler bed. They know they can get up, you should apply the "stay in bed at nap time" rule. My son started climbing out of bed at 16 months, yes, the mattress was on the lowest setting. I switched to a toddler bed and put the safety rail and it goes very well. Posted on July 9, 2010.
