When choosing a particular style of furniture for your living room, leather can be an outstanding choice. There is a wide range of leather sofas , sectional leather , recliners, loveseats, chairs and available in different colors and styles. It is easy to clean, elegant and very durable when properly looked after. Leather furniture is great at handling stains and spills, and is generally not need much maintenance as other tissues. This does not mean that leather furniture requires no maintenance. It is "low maintenance", but certainly not "maintenance free".

Here are some good ways to take care of your leather furniture:

Clean stains immediately

  • Make sure you take care of a spill immediately. If the stain has time to sink into the fabric, it can be much more resistant to cleaning. In addition, it is more likely to reappear months later.
  • Blot the stain gently with a soft cloth or towel. Avoid rubbing the spill and smear, as this will spread the stain.
