Wednesday on Fox 11 News of the child in the foster care system is presented as available for adoption.

You can then go to the Ministry DCFS Los Angeles County Human Services Web site and download a PDF file on the child to pursue an adoption for him / her.

What is your opinion on featuring children on television available for adoption?

This is called the children on Wednesday and it has been ongoing since at least 1983 in different areas of the countrty .....

These children are not streamlined aggainst their will - they want parents and is one of the last means to spread the word.

*** ETA: In addition most of the children profiled on Wednesday's child will be adopted - and want to have a family ... These children know that being part of a family should be better then being Nobody's Child ... They are usually part of a sibling or an older child who has never been taken up by families wishing to adopt. I guess some people prefer these children grow up like my uncle and I wonder why they do not matter to one .... They are not important enough to be the most important one .... So then we can pretend they are not there .... Thousands ... everyone to live a life random can not bear to watch and review .... Let's just silence only means of these children have a voice ... and make themselves known to those who might actually have the nuts to love a child that nobody wants - and too many people can not even bring himself to watch ...... These children are presented because the state is their mother ... Taxpayers to ensure that their needs are not met .... If someone can not stand this happens then maybe they should make a difference - and find a way to help these children rather than let them suffer like Kid No Body until they grow and move to ... God only knows what kind of life shit .... Honestly, I do not understand why people prefer to silence the voices of these children ... but apparently being adopted is sooooo bad that some would it away from others.

The world is run by the media, then it seems the logical thing. If you are concerned about the child being humiliated, look where his life is now. Nobody said nothing about commercials for starving children in Africa and South America. They wave in our face, and as a normal human response, we feel the need of aid. Sometimes America give their own charity begins at home.

the first time I saw that I was really panicked online. this is not the news photos of his PPL as online shopping for a cute child. but I guess if you think it is good to take pictures there and someone who may be considering an international adoption or a child may not want to seem just for fun and fall in love with a older child. I think showing that pic on the news is a bit everyone sees that not only the potential parents.

I understand their motivations. I think they are trying to reach a wide audience to find that child a family, however, it gives me pause, as we trot on people like puppies or candidates to the beauty queen .

I'm going to adopt a conference on Sunday where they have pictures and info on all children available for adoption by child welfare. I think it is more appropriate that people go to the conference are Alred.
