Car Safety For Children

Car Safety For ChildrenPreventing Children innovative gadget to release the car seat belt

The approach of the National Child Passenger Safety Week, a new device called as Angelguard was introduced in an effort to keep children safely strapped into their seats car. The scheme aims to prevent children from accidental release of the buckle belt to reduce the risk of serious injury or even death of children in crashes.

You can strap your toddler into a seat belt for children, such an act will be rendered useless when the little toddler could accidentally discharge their security locks. Children not properly restrained in their car seats can be easily thrown over the back of the car or even in the front seat of a car in case of shock. This can cause serious injury to a child or even death.

To solve the problem of belt buckle being released accidentally by children, Patricia Mandarino spent a year in developing a gadget that will prevent children from doing so. His efforts to create such a device that will keep children safe in their seats because of his observations during his three year old daughter, finds it easy to undo his seatbelt. She also discovered that almost all parents face the same problem.

Mandarino looked for devices in stores that focus on the problem, but his search was in vain. The realization that there was no commercially available products that prevent small children off their seat belts, made her spend time designing a way to prevent such incidents.

The result of his work is a simple product that slips up on the release button seat belt which makes it difficult for children to unfasten their seat belts, even if they do so intentionally. The product is built from a type of sturdy plastic and can be easily used by adults. The simplicity of the device denies the valuable assistance it provides to parents to keep their precious cargo safely secured in their seats.

The introduction of such a gadget will further improve car safety for children on board and inside of a car. It also gives parents peace of mind knowing that their children can not accidentally or intentionally, unfasten their seat belts.

The arrival of a gadget like Angelguard will certainly be welcomed by parents. Especially with the recently discovered by a study which showed that a third of respondents reported that their child (or children) defeated their seatbelts. In fact, many of the respondents in that survey reported that their children were able to unfasten their seat belts not just once but in fact they do so frequently. Add to this the fact that traffic accidents are the leading cause of death for children aged from three upwards. This figure comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Arrival of the said safety device is on the heels of other breakthroughs in safety child car like those used on the Volvo V70.

At a time when awareness for the safety of children is emphasized, for example a product like Angelguard will be welcomed. When the brake components such as high EBC Greenstuff brake parts are not enough to protect a vehicle crashes, the safety devices are needed to improve the safety of vehicle occupants. The use of safety devices increase is already answered not only by large companies but also by individuals and that can only be good for the cause of protecting motorists. If more innovation, as reflected in the near future, this will be a good step forward for the safety of the car. Consumers can expect the cars are safer and more secure for their children thanks to these people and businesses Mandarino l.
