Baby Comforter Sets

Is it just for looks or babies to use later as they grow?

there doesn't make sense eh, how or why they come with bumper pads when you're not supposed to be something in there with baby? especially not with chains somehting ??????????????? LOL I got a look together and put in on at her home, thinking about it and it took off and never used ... crazy crazy crazy. there was a place that enables a baby can put his head through .. like between two links (the space between the links-like, I do not know maybe a foot or so wide)
