I want to know why it is important to plan appropriate activities for children in a nursery setting To stimulate their development and there is some structure to the environment and day. There are many. The first that came to mind is the structure. If a child has a structured routine - doing certain things at certain times, they are less likely to be "everywhere" if you will - because they know what to expect at certain times. They also learn to trust when things will happen when they are scheduled to and they can count on the people who care for them. It is primarily for the child learns the routine and can develop skills that are supporting the development of the child. They learn social skills, cooperation, sharing and preparing for kindergarten. to ensure their development and encourage them so they can learn more ... will also develop their confidence if it is something they can not reach ... nothing worse than the allowable age of inappropriate activity for children!
