Activities For Nursery Children

Activities For Nursery ChildrenWhy is it important to plan appropriate activities for children in a nursery?

I want to know why it is important to plan appropriate activities for children in a nursery setting

To stimulate their development and there is some structure to the environment and day.

If you do not put in place activities you'llfind they start to cause problems because they are bored and looking for ways to make their own fun.

There are many. The first that came to mind is the structure. If a child has a structured routine - doing certain things at certain times, they are less likely to be "everywhere" if you will - because they know what to expect at certain times. They also learn to trust when things will happen when they are scheduled to and they can count on the people who care for them.

In addition, appropriate activities, like the other person says is important for their development! Activities such as role play allows children to "practice" to each other in social situations. They learn social cues, standards, etc.

There are just certain things that children can do at certain ages in order to continue to be tailored to the child (such as reading, writing, using motor skills, large and small, etc.)

It is primarily for the child learns the routine and can develop skills that are supporting the development of the child. They learn social skills, cooperation, sharing and preparing for kindergarten.
A child is very lucky to be in a kindergarten program that has a good variety of activities.

to ensure their development and encourage them so they can learn more ... will also develop their confidence if it is something they can not reach ... nothing worse than the allowable age of inappropriate activity for children!
